Precision Ceramics

The precision ceramics produced by Ferrotec(China) is mainly sintered by materials with high melting point like oxides, carbides and nitrides. The raw material is the chemical material made from serials of synthetic or refined process, which is made of ultra-fine powder (submicron and nanometer powder) sintered by ultra-high temperature and high pressure.

Precision ceramics Category

Ferrotec ceramic products are mainly made of five types of sintered materials, including silicon carbide ceramics, aluminum nitride ceramics, aluminum trioxide ceramics, silicon nitride ceramics and zirconia ceramics. Each type of product has its own superior characteristics in mechanical, thermal and electrical properties.

SiC ceramic

Silicon carbide is not only the material that is second only to diamond in hardness, but also has better heat resistance and wear resistance than other ceramic materials. Silicon carbide belongs to high temperature structural materials. Even at extremely high temperature (1700℃), the strength is still maintained,. It is used in many important fields such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment parts, burner nozzle, etc.

Zirconia Ceramic

High purity zirconia ceramics have superior strength and toughness, ultra-high wear resistance and high temperature resistance, and superior acid and alkali corrosion resistance. It is mainly used in the circumstance of high temperature, high PH, and high strength.

Alumina Ceramic

High purity alumina ceramics which are widely used in the industries of semiconductor, medical, liquid crystal and new energy, have good insulation, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, high temperature resistance, and high strength. Silicon Nitride Ceramic

Compared with Alumina, it has better heat resistance and thermal shock resistance which are widely used as a type of heat resistance complex material in the fields like semiconductor manufacturing equipment parts, burner nozzle and welding fixture, etc.

Aluminum Nitride Ceramic

High-purity aluminum nitride ceramics have superior thermal conductivity, insulation, heat resistance and thermal shock resistance, and can be used as heat-resistant material which is widely used in semiconductor etching equipment.
